This morning Noni looked settled, she was already in the den for the tv masses when I walked in and it was up to the important part of the mass so I sat in there with her for a while. Once dressed she wanted to look for some envelopes that she had in the drawers that Gramps had cleaned out. She was worried that they were in the green bin with all the things gramps had tossed. But they were not, there were In Two stacks on the table where gramps had left them for her to sort through and they were a treasure trove of photos and recipes. It was the recipes that she was most concerned about, e.g. Mary's antipasto or the rice pudding recipe that was her favourite. So this unleashed a fun reminisce among recipes and personal recipe books and photos that went on through gramps arriving for breakfast. They had a collection of photos that I had not seen before from some Rose and Bill gathering. Prietto adult children pay special attention to our teeth, mine and Linda's pre braces. Look familiar?

Dad arrived midday. Linda dropped me off to meet and greet and as I walked into airport heard the familiar whistle and there he was. So great to have him here. Martinellis joined us for lunch, goodies from La Tapatia and lots of fun conversation. Dad and I are keeping all of our suitcases in the lounge room so we can accommodate two sleeping spaces in sewing room. My little wireless hotspot is now accommodating both of our iPads easily as long as we are in right part of the house.

Gramps gave us his credit card and $100 to go out to dinner with Martinellis, so we went to Jacks, fun time and a great opportunity to talk through (over drinks and good food) what had gone on over last two years for them, especially the last 3 months, the transformation over the past 3 weeks and what lay ahead. So glad Dad is here now as mike can download fully to him and they are both in agreement in moms stuff whereas Linda and I are of course more sympathetic to the value these things have for mom. As of Monday Gramps and Noni can move furniture into their rooms so we have a small plan to move just a few things soon and then go back and forth through the week with more items but make sure They have another weekend before moving.  

To help make decisions about what furniture I have gone crazy with a measuring tape, a ruler for scale and small pieces of cardboard (too much time on my hands) to see what and how particular items of furniture fit in the two rooms. Hope that works as I think if we have to go back and forth with too many things It will not be good.
