Gramps gains a bit more strength every day, and with each bit of progress he is gaining in confidence. Yesterday he took a phone call from the lease company for the car. They have been chasing him for the odometer reading and we sent this in by mail shortly after I arrived. But they have called twice since then and this was a third call. Dad gave them the reading over the phone and then gave them a serve, said he did not want to get any more phone calls and they better get their act together.
He is having breaks from the oxygen machine just to see how he feels but I think he will always need to have the oxygen machine available just as a confidence builder. Monday and Tuesday were dominated by return visits from the plumber and I am pleased to say that we now have two new toilets, new shower handles, and NO leaks. The upstairs toilet is quite impressive, sounds like a small jet when flushed.
Noni is gradually sorting through drawers, usually looking for something and then ending up doing some organising. At the end she always has a few more items she wants to bring up there. The Martinellis are always coming and going with one or two little ones and Gramps and Noni just love that.
We have squeezed in a few fun outings with Martinellis, a quick trip to B&R for Dad and Mike, happy boys. Linda and I just sat and watched. We also had dinner at Martinellis last night.
